CoreUI PRO for Vue v5.22.1 - Time Picker, Calendar and Date Picker Fixes

CoreUI PRO for Vue v5.22.1 - Time Picker, Calendar and Date Picker Fixes

We are pleased to announce the release of CoreUI PRO for Vue v5.22.1. This patch release fixes how CTimePicker handles an empty value, makes CCalendar open on a month with days to pick when minDate or maxDate exclude today, and makes CDatePicker and CDateRangePicker report the formatted date for a typed date.

Speed up your responsive apps and websites with fully-featured, ready-to-use open-source admin panel templates—free to use and built for efficiency.

What’s New

Bug Fixes

  • CTimePicker: A time picked on an empty picker stayed after Cancel, and a picker cleared since it was last opened got its old time back. Cancel now restores the empty value, resets AM/PM and emits change and update:time with null, so v-model clears too. A picker mounted with visible no longer loses its value on Cancel. Restoring a time that was already set works as before.
  • CTimePicker: The first pick on an empty picker started from UTC midnight, so the parts you had not picked yet carried your UTC offset (picking 30 minutes in New York gave 7:30 PM). It now starts from local midnight.
  • CCalendar: Without a calendarDate or startDate, the calendar opened on today even when minDate or maxDate excluded it. It now opens on the minDate or maxDate that today falls outside of, also when calendarDate changes to null.
  • CDatePicker & CDateRangePicker: date-change, start-date-change and end-date-change carried the formatted date as their second argument only for a date picked in the calendar. A typed date now carries it too, and the argument is undefined when the typed text does not give a valid date.

Dependency Updates

  • @coreui/coreui-pro updated to ^5.29.1.

Migration Notes

This release has no breaking changes to the public API. One behavior change is worth checking:

  1. v-model:time on Cancel. Cancel on a CTimePicker that was empty when it opened, after a time was picked, now emits update:time and change with null.
