CoreUI PRO for Angular v5.7.26 - Backdrop Cleanup and Angular 22.1.5 Update

We are pleased to announce the release of CoreUI PRO for Angular v5.7.26. This release clears the Offcanvas and Sidebar backdrop when the component is destroyed, cleans up the aria-*, inert and tabindex bindings across components, fixes JSDoc comments, and aligns the library with Angular 22.1.5. No breaking changes were announced in the published release notes.

How to Update

To update to CoreUI PRO for Angular v5.7.26, run:

ng update @angular/core@22 @angular/cli@22 @coreui/coreui-pro@~5.27.0 @coreui/angular-pro@~5.7.26

Bug Fixes

Offcanvas, Sidebar: Destroying an open Offcanvas or a visible mobile Sidebar - for example when the route changes - now removes its backdrop instead of leaving it on the page.

Attribute Cleanup

aria-*: The ARIA bindings were cleaned up across components, including Accordion, Breadcrumb, Button, Close Button, Carousel, Dropdown, Header and Navbar togglers, List Group, Modal, Nav, Offcanvas, Pagination, Placeholder, Popover, Tabs and Tooltip.
inert: Alert, Modal, Offcanvas and Sidebar bind inert as a property. A dismissed Alert is now hidden with the hidden and inert attributes instead of the d-none class.
tabindex: Button and List Group items no longer write tabindex="NaN" when the numeric binding is unset, and the tabs bind tabindex as an attribute. The cleanup comes with new tests.

Documentation

Fixed JSDoc comments across components, including the Calendar, Date Range Picker and theme directive.

Angular 22.1.5 Alignment

This release keeps CoreUI PRO for Angular aligned with Angular 22.1.5, so framework packages, build tooling and runtime dependencies stay in sync.
