CoreUI for Angular v5.7.27 - Popover Reference Input and JSDoc Fixes
We are pleased to announce the release of CoreUI for Angular v5.7.27. This release corrects JSDoc comments across components and, as part of that pass, gives the Popover reference input its own name, cPopoverRef. The release notes list only documentation fixes, but the renamed input needs a template change if you use it - see the Migration Notes below.

How to Update
To update to CoreUI for Angular v5.7.27, run:
ng update @angular/core@22 @angular/cli@22 @coreui/coreui@~5.9.0 @coreui/angular@~5.7.27

Popover Reference Input
The cPopover directive positions the popover on a reference element through an ElementRefDirective. That input used to be exposed under the tooltip’s name, cTooltipRef. It is now cPopoverRef, in line with the other popover inputs such as cPopoverPlacement and cPopoverTrigger:

The Tooltip keeps its cTooltipRef input.

@returnsand@defaulttags and the declared types (for examplestring | TemplateRef<any> | undefinedfor the popover and tooltip content) - so the generated API tables show the right type and default.

After upgrading:
- Install updated dependencies.
- Run your test suite and verify the build.
- If you position a popover on a reference element with
[cTooltipRef]on acPopoverelement, rename the binding to[cPopoverRef]- the old name no longer reaches the popover.
