CoreUI for Angular v5.7.31 - Angular 22.2.0 Update

We are pleased to announce the release of CoreUI for Angular v5.7.31. This release aligns the library with Angular 22.2.0, raises the Angular peer dependencies of all three packages to ^22.2.0, and moves the test suite to Vitest 5. No breaking changes were announced in the published release notes, but your application needs Angular 22.2 or later - see the Migration Notes below.

How to Update

To update to CoreUI for Angular v5.7.31, run:

ng update @angular/core@22 @angular/cli@22 @coreui/coreui@~5.9.0 @coreui/angular@~5.7.31

Please ensure that there are no error messages in the results.

What’s New

Angular 22.2 Alignment

This release keeps CoreUI for Angular aligned with Angular 22.2.0. The peer dependencies now require Angular ^22.2.0:

@coreui/angular: @angular/aria, @angular/cdk, @angular/common, @angular/core and @angular/router
@coreui/angular-chartjs: @angular/core
@coreui/icons-angular: @angular/common, @angular/core and @angular/platform-browser

Testing

The library’s test suite now runs on Vitest 5.

Migration Notes

No breaking changes were announced in the published release notes. After upgrading:

Make sure your application runs on Angular 22.2 or later. All three packages now declare Angular ^22.2.0 as a peer dependency, so an application still on Angular 22.1 has to move to 22.2 together with this release - the ng update command above does both.
Install updated dependencies.
Run your test suite and verify the build.
