CoreUI for React v5.13.1 - Offcanvas and Chip Input Fixes

We are pleased to announce the release of CoreUI for React v5.13.1. This maintenance release gives the page its scrolling back when a visible COffcanvas unmounts, fixes the disabled and readonly states of CChipInput, and moves to the @coreui/coreui v5.9.1 stylesheet.

Speed up your responsive apps and websites with fully-featured, ready-to-use open-source admin panel templates—free to use and built for efficiency.

  3. Save your changes to the package.json file.
  4. In your project’s root directory, run the update command appropriate for your package manager:

What’s New

Bug Fixes

  • COffcanvas: Unmounting an offcanvas while it is visible restores the page scroll.
  • CChipInput: The disabled and readonly semantics are left to the input element.

Documentation & Tooling

  • Docs: Pages that still used preview fences render live examples, the CDropdown responsive alignment examples line up with their toggle, and the README has Data Grid and Scheduler sections.
  • Build: Type declarations are emitted with an explicit root directory.

Dependency Updates

  • @coreui/coreui updated to ^5.9.1, which brings its sanitizer hardening and the Card, Accordion, Modal, Popover and Dropdown border-radius fixes into your styles.
  • Development dependencies updated to their latest minor and patch versions, including astro 7.3.5, rollup 4.64.0, vite 8.3.2 and vitest 4.1.11.

Migration Notes

This is a maintenance release with no breaking changes announced in the published release notes. After upgrading:

  1. Install updated dependencies.
  2. Run your test suite and verify the build.
